About

My name is Jennifer N. Turner and I have created this site to help me with my research as I learn how to bring inclusion into Montessori schools. I live and work in Ontario, Canada, and I am a proud Montessorian. My dream is to see Montessori schools become accessible to all families and enter the public school realm. But, most importantly, I hope to help combine Universal Design for Learning and Montessori inclusion into, what I call, Universal Design for Montessori Inclusion (UDMI). Montessori is naturally the best choice for children with learning differences, socio-economic differences, cultural differences, and disabilities. Unfortunately, what are currently living in a world where Montessori education is only for the elite and those who do not need supports. It's time we remember that Montessori is for every child.
